HOW TO DRY YOUR KNITTING?
Do not hang your knitwear with clothespins or hangers to dry, as the weight of the water can stretch the fabric. Instead, lay it on a dry towel on a flat surface and let it dry naturally.
Never use a dryer, as this can cause your knitwear to shrink and lose its original shape. Also, do not dry it in the sun, as this can end up fading the color, even white can end up turning yellow.
HOW TO GET RID OF BOLTS ON YOUR KNITTING?
Pills on knitwear are very common and they form due to the friction of the fabric against other materials, such as clothes, furniture or even against the body itself, causing the loose natural fibers of the fabric to curl up, giving it that “old” appearance.
To avoid pilling, it is important to take good care of your garment, preventing it from rubbing against other materials. You can do this, for example, by wearing a cotton t-shirt underneath the knitwear, avoiding sitting on rough surfaces, or even avoiding carrying heavy bags that can create friction.
A good way to remove pills is to use a piece of tape rolled up in your hand. Carefully roll the sticky side of the tape over the knitwear to remove them. In addition, there are specific products that can be found in specialized stores, such as “Papa BOLINHAS”.
